Maria is a spirited and curious designer with growing experience in architectural and interior design. She visualizes and approaches her creative work holistically, ranging in multiple scales, while balancing client and consumer needs.
Born in Saipan and raised in the Philippines, Maria planted her roots in Washington, DC and graduated at the Catholic University of America in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Architecture and Planning. During her undergraduate career, she studied abroad in Paris, France and was chosen as one of the student exhibitionists along with worldwide independent artists for her Paris studio project in the Art Capital 2015 held by the Salon des Artistes Francais taken place at the Grand Palais.
In her downtime, she is a freelance content creator for her own website Ambushthenight, filled with creative content ranging from poetry/spoken word, film, and all mediums of art. A dedicated cafe-connoseiur with a foldable bike, she jet-sets throughout DC with a constant thirst to create and hopes to share that quench with everyone.
