Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen is an authentic Lebanese restaurant built on the philosophy of hospitality and generosity. The name itself, “Kareem,” is Arabic for “generous”, reflecting the Chef’s goal to provide abundant flavors and a sophisticated, yet casual dining experience. Building upon the success of the original flagship location in Naples, FL, Nahra was tasked with the design for a second lake-front location in Gaithersburg, MD.
Nahra composed an interior design with a rich palette of neutral tones/textures which are blended with subtle curves and rounded edges. Discrete lighting accents throughout make the dining room versatile for a variety of occasions from business lunches to family dinners and special occasions. A floating outdoor dining room on the adjacent lake takes full advantage of the available site context, providing both interior and exterior dining options
