The Jordan Residence, located in rural Clifton, Virgina, is situated on a sloping 5-acre lot. The home is composed of 4 single-story gabled volumes, organized around a central courtyard. Each volume has a specific programmatic purpose which makes the flow of the interior intuitive and efficient. Transparent links connect the volumes and provide continuous connection to the surrounding landscape. Designed in an Agrarian Modern style, the Architecture is intentionally simple, putting emphasis on natural light and nature.
