The design of this office building was part of a feasibility study undertaken on behalf of the property owner and the city of Takoma Park, MD. The goal was to revitalize the distressed existing property, which occupies a prominent gateway site, into incubator office space for local businesses. The adaptive reuse preserves the building’s shell, features an outdoor stair with living green screen and is planned in such a way to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
