Located on the former grounds of Landmark Mall, West End Alexandria is a new mixed-use develompent anchored by a new medical campus and linear central park. West End will feature a variety of local and national brands along with a healthy mix of soft goods, food & beverage and services. In addition to the retail offerings, the community will include abundant landscaping, walking paths, a state-of-the-art playground and sports areas.
Nahra is serving as the Retail Architect for Phase 1, working with the design and development teams from the schematic design phase through lease up. Nahra is advising on the configuration of retail infrastructure, logistics, storefront design, ground plane placemaking and other aspects of the base building configuration to be considered when delivering high-value retail space in a mixed-use new suburban neighborhood. Additionally, Nahra supports the retail leasing efforts with key tenant test fits, retail design guidelines, demising studies, lease plans and other collateral.
