The brief for this project centered on creating an accessible basement for the client to comfortably “age in place” and live in her home as long as possible. This fully ADA compliant apartment with multi-functionality features custom millwork to make the best use of available space. The bed can fold away when not in use, providing a bonus family room. An open floor plan maximizes natural light and connection to the exterior yard while warm materials provide a bright, contemporary feel.
