The Baltimore Peninsula (formerly known as Port Covington) is a new waterfront community in South Baltimore which spans 235 acres of land and 2.5 miles of waterfront.  The initial phase included the planning of 15 new city blocks and an initial build out of 5 city blocks. The mid-rise buildings include office, residential and a substantial number of neighborhood scale retail spaces.

Nahra served as the Retail Architect for the multi-block Phase 1 build out, working with the design and development teams from the design development design phase through delivery.  Nahra advised on the configuration of retail infrastructure, logistics, storefront design, ground plane placemaking and other aspects of the base building configuration to be considered when delivering high-value retail space in a mixed use urban setting.   Additionally, Nahra supported the retail leasing efforts with key tenant test fits, demising studies, lease plans and other collateral.
